Ignite by Thermory offers the bold look of traditional shou sugi ban (charred wood) cladding, with a deceptively flame-free process. Ignite uses a brushing, staining and embossing technique to mimic the look of burnt wood without the messy residue. Ignite is created from thermally modified spruce, which offers 25+ years of rot resistance. This is a bold look you’ll need to see for yourself.

Ignite provides a bold look that’ll set your project on fire. But it also offers the stability and durability Thermory is known for. In fact, Ignite comes with a 25-plus-year rot-resistance rating!
That’s because like all Thermory products, Ignite undergoes our expert thermal modification process. Thermory naturally enhances wood, using only heat and steam, for results that are unequalled in rot resistance and dimensional stability.

2 Textures Available
Choose between the embossed texture of Dragon Scale, which mimics charred wood texture and color, and Brushed, which offers a more rugged feel with bold, solid black color.

White-Glove Approved
Ignite mimics the look of charred wood, but is created without flames. That means there’s no mess or residue, just realistic texture and the bold look you want.

Natural Weathering
If the goal is to achieve a natural weathered silver, having a clear coat of oil factory applied is still the best way to protect your investment. Factory-applied oil protects all six sides of the wood and doesn't need to slow down the aging process...it just helps the wood to age more gracefully from it's day one rich browns (shown here) to a gorgeous silver while better withstanding the harsh weather conditions. It can be a one-time application to help your siding live its best life.
Thermory Vivid
Transform the look of thermally modified wood with Vivid by Thermory. Our translucent colors offer a semi-sheer finish, so you can still see the species’ natural wood grain and texture. This way, you get exactly the look you want from day one.
